A VERY SPECIAL EMKHO WEDDING
So this wedding was a wee bit special for this particular Adelady – our very own graphic designer, Emma got hitched! Everything in this wedding was ultra-personalised and attentive to the guest’s experience. We could go on about this forever, so just look at the photos instead!
Naturally, emkho had free design reign and we LOVED designing every second of it. Emma loves modern, clean, contemporary trends and we were able to try some things we have had in the ‘ideas bank’ for a while. The private property setting in Adelaide’s Mount Jagged was a perfect backdrop. Overlooking the valley, the marquee sat pretty on the top of the hill overlooking the secluded ceremony site below. We even managed to include an on site ‘bridal suite’ for the couple!
Guests arrived to a personalised ‘booklet’ donned in gold foil and circle die cuts, tabs to guide the guest through the event with quirky sayings and a special individual message to each guest. Epic stationery LOVE. Emkho graphic design at its best!
Custom made L shape disjointed birch arches paved the way for the aisle setting as a marble clad bar gave guests a personalised gin cocktail after the, ‘I do’s’.
Now; think lush ferns, foliage and luxe florals. Toss in some metallic hues, marble and concrete finishes, a clear marquee – and you’ve got a stunning reception setting. Custom made black pendant shades hung above the guest tables and ultra luxurious floral arrangements adorned the tables in gold vases.
Gold cutlery finished the tablescape with emkho’s clear, acrylic napkin rings to finish a contemporary look. Each guest had a personalised marble faced side plate with their name and an individual funny quote for each guest. The weather was even so perfect, the marquee sides were able to be opened and the view over the valley was INCREDIBLE!
