Eeeek, the Adelaide Fashion Festival (#AFF16), presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide, is creeping up and we cannot wait to see this very talented Adelady showing off her goods!
Stacey Hendrickson is the creator of SA’s stunning fashion label, casper+pearl! When most of us were just finishing Year 12 and trying to get part-time work in retail, Stacey was starting her own fashion label! She’s self-taught, hugely motivated, and one of the things we love most about her is she’s an artist who uses her own paintings as the basis for unique digital prints. So, she’s an artist and fashion designer – a double threat.
Her designs are feminine, playful and reek of confidence — the girl’s got style!
Last year casper+pearl was the only South Australian label to feature at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia as one of six up-and-coming brands in the New Generation runway show! How amazing is that? She’s an absolute star, representing Adelaide around Australia and beyond!
This week, we’re so pumped to have Stacey Hendrickson as our Inspirational Adelady. You can catch casper+pearl at Runway 5 – Ready to Wear, 8.30pm, Friday 21 October, also featuring SIG, Tiff Manuell, Autark, Stone, Lexi Clothing, Julie White and Simmone Standing. You can’t go past Bauhaus for the fantastic mix of homewares, gifts and my personal favourite, accessories. I’m almost always wearing something from Bauhaus, be it earrings, shoes or both!
