Nestled in the heart of Port Noarlunga, the locals would agree, Becks is by far one of the best bakeries in Adelaide. You can stumble in off the beach after a surf, wearing boardies and thongs, or come dressed in your winter woolies — everybody’s welcome. It’s light and bright, with plenty of tables for big groups or small parties of two. It’s located on the corner, so there’s loads of room for alfresco dining, if that’s what you prefer?

FOOD

3 words: ALL. DAY. BREAKFAST. Oh yeah, baby! From toasted subs, croissants and banana bread, to the famous Becks Breakky Roll with egg, cheese and your choice of bacon or smoked salmon. And if you get there nice and early, you can grab something straight out of the oven! Their smoothies are brilliant too. Banana and oat has my heart.

KID-FRIENDLY?

There’s definitely room for prams and high chairs, inside or out. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed so you won’t have to stress about bringing the kids along for breakfast. They also have a few kid-friendly meal options too. My 3-year-old also reckons they do a mean babycino.

+ VIBE :: Casual, family friendly, light, bright, bustling
