Everyone in Adelaide should hug Kelly. Not because she’s sad or lonely, but because we want to say thank you for A. creating the most delicious presents and B. showing us that anything is possible!

Kelly Jamieson is the creator of Edible Blooms. If you haven’t already ordered them, you may have been sent them. They are yummy bouquets of chocolate flowers and they really are the sweetest flowers you’ll ever receive!

Edible Blooms started as a small business with BIG ideas!  “I put all my savings behind the initial start up and traded in my car for a purple delivery van and swapped my corporate heels for trainers”, says Kelly. Soon, her  sister Abbey joined her and they moved super fast to establish Edible Blooms as the pioneer in Australia of floral-like bouquets that you can eat.

Today they operate from 7 locations across Australia and New Zealand and employ more than 50 amazing team members to deliver delicious bouquets daily to their customers.

Isn’t that just the best story? An Adelady, having a crack and succeeding beyond her wildest dreams!

On behalf of everyone in Adelaide, thank you for being so damn inspiring! This week Kelly is our Inspirational Adelady; here are her fave places in Adelaide!

Fave dessert bar

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I can’t get past an Edible Blooms Belgian chocolate dipped strawberry (even 10 years on).  This is not a deliberate product plug (really?!), I absolutely love them – especially the white chocolate dipped strawberries.

Fave creative space

I spend most of my week working from our farm at Port Elliot.  The farm is my favourite place for creative planning and inspiration.  I have a view of the hills and the ocean from my home office and it’s made even better because I am closer to my two gorgeous children and husband Andrew.

Fave shopping strip

King William Road, Hyde Park.  My favourite hangout is Medi Pedi for a little hand and feet pampering.  My clever sister-in-law Georgie started this business up late last year and I am in heaven when I take time out for a visit.

Fave coffee café

South Seas Bookstore in Port Elliot is my favourite coffee spot, although I can never leave with just a coffee, the books are amazing.

Fave weekend getaway

We love Kangaroo Island for a family getaway with our children, in particular Snellings Beach on the North coast.
