RAA has just launched SA Holiday Experiences so you can explore your own back-yard in style! All you have to do is pick your destination and they’ll show you the packages to choose from. We have created our very own Adelady City Gallivant!
Here’s what the experience includes…
Central Market Tour
Food, glorious food — the best way to see and learn about our markets is through a guided food tour. Not only do you get to overload your senses with a sumptuous selection of SA meats, cheeses, sweets and so on, but you also discover some little hidden gems in the Market! Hot tip – try everything! I even tried the smoked crocodile (I’m the worst vegetarian ever!)

Ghost Tour at Old Adelaide Gaol
Boo! As someone who is scared of the “other side”, Adelaide’s Haunted Horizons Ghost Tour definitely made me jump! It’s not just a ghost tour, you get a full history of the old Adelaide Gaol and learn some really interesting (and scary) things that happened in those cold, dark, hallways. AHHH!

Adelaide Oval Roofclimb
Let’s get crazy! This is one of the most exhilarating and fun things you can experience in Adelaide. This year, South Aussies don’t just have to admire Adelaide Oval from afar, we can climb it! All the way to the very top.
You can get amongst Adelaide Oval’s unique roofline during the day and enjoy beautiful views of our awesome city. Or, if you want to be extra romantic, try the twilight walk, and watch the sunset over Adelaide Oval from above. I did consider popping the question to Lauren when we were up the top, but then I remembered, I’m already married.
Buxton Manor
Stay for 2 nights at the beautiful Buxton Manor — Old-world charm at its best. Set within walking distance from all the O’Connell Street shops, it’s a stunning house in beautiful North Adelaide. A four poster bed and decked out with antique furniture and an open fireplace, it’s the perfect little spot for a romantic weekend away.
