All women, mum or not, dream of being pampered. It’s in our bones. To us, being cared for is something we’re used to doing for others — so when it happens to us, we slip into a happy coma. It’s Heaven!
Since having kids, I never really get the chance to have “me time” and get pampered. The closest thing I get to a “massage” is getting my four year old to walk across my back. Hot tip for mums: it’s freaking awesome for about one minute, then it’s super annoying and painful.
As much as I love being walked on by a toddler, nothing compares to going out and having your head massaged at the hairdressers, your nails “did” or getting a full body relaxation massage in a quiet room with no kids and nobody to look after.

You’ll find this gem on Melbourne Street, North Adelaide. Mums are normally riddled with aches and pains, even though they never complain about it. (I’m the exception to the rule). Never-the-less, Clarity Wellness does acupuncture, pregnancy treatments and remedial massage amongst other things that your mum needs and loves. They also offer gift vouchers so your mum can pick and choose how she wants to be pampered.
