DÉCOR
When you walk into Swedish Tarts off of Seaview Road at Henley Beach, you can smell the deliciousness coming out of the kitchen as they cook up tasty the modern Australian crossed Swedish dishes. Swedish Tarts brightens up your day with quirky lampshades hanging from the roof, with rustic furniture and cute artworks from charity.
If you’re not lucky enough to get one of the few tables outside looking over the beach, don’t fret, there’s plenty of tables and couches inside the small café, making it feel nice and cosy, while you eat your healthy, comfort food.

FOOD
My hands down favourite meal is the crispy serrano ham and poached eggs with tomato and herb salsa and feta (just minus the feta on mine), and it is absolutely divine!
The salty serrano mixed with the tomato salsa is likely one of the best flavours I have encountered in my life (excluding chocolate, obviously!) Don’t forget their freshly squeezed juice, my preference is watermelon and mint, absolutely mind-blowing and refreshing! However, if you’re not into the juices, then order one of their Fairtrade and Organic coffee or hot chocolates. Whatever you do, don’t forget to grab one of the many tarts or cakes on your way out!
