The Nine Network today announced that production has commenced on a lifestyle series based on the popular website adelady.com.au.

Hayley Pearson and Lauren DeCesare, founders and creators of Adelady, will host the TV version of their online sensation, which will be produced by Channel Nine Adelaide.

Adelady will be a place free of gossip and negativity. It will be full of fun, style, fitness, food, fashion and the best events in SA. It will be about inspiring women and highlighting the best of Adelaide.

Hayley Pearson said: “After 12 years in radio we wanted to take everything we learnt to create a fun little community that made us happy.

“The website has resonated with the people of South Australia and we’re excited to bring it to life on the small screen.

“I also get to work with my bosom buddy, Lauren, and every day we wet ourselves laughing.”

Lauren DeCesare said: “We’re both overwhelmed at how many people visit our website and engage with us on social media, and it’s not just our mum and dad – it’s REAL people.

“We can’t wait to share the best of Adelaide with everyone, in our own quirky way.”

Adelady will be made possible with the support of Websters Lawyers, Australian Institute of Fitness, Menz Fruchocs, Harbour Town, RAA, Fresh Hair and Body, Fertility SA, G-Fresh Spices and RD Jones Group.

Wonderful news congrats xx Great news for all the positivity in this beautiful state of ours. So proud to see something like this for my daughter to watch with me. Age 11 and finding herself is a delicate time so I’m hoping you can show her its ok be not be the same, experience life, enjoy and learn from your mistakes. No one is perfect.

Wow! How wonderful to see the amazing highlights of our ‘sleepy little town’ (or so the other states call it) featured in such a positive and happy way. Having lived here in SA all my life, I can honestly say I’d never, ever want to live anywhere else.
    Cheers Adeladies.

What a team you are! I’m so excited for you both and can’t wait to watch the show. With a house full of boys, Adelady will be a welcome girlie relief for me xx

  • Bev Bertelsmeier says:

Just wondering why you have a pineapple as your Logo? Seems a bit odd to me but I guess there must be some connection. By the way the show was great, would love to see you in the Clare valley sometime soon
    cheers

    • Hayley Pearson says:

haha we get asked that all the time – this is the real story. We came up with the idea for Adelady together and went home that night to both think about possible logos. We met up the next day and both showed pics of pineapples – it has absolutely no relevance but I guess pineapples are fun, sweet and also mean “welcome” so it’s the perfect fit for us haha. Hayley xx

Love your show! It’s vibrant and fun. Logo looks great and colourful but I fail to relate to Adelaide. Every time I see it it makes me think of Queensland. Good show nevertheless! Well done girls!
