The who
Cousins Megan Potter and Mandy Hawtin started this inspired organic cosmetic biz for ‘selfish’ reasons. “My background as a beauty therapist and makeup artist branched out into personal styling. I wasn’t comfortable recommending products on the market which can be packed with fillers, you’re often paying good money for water, and there aren’t colours that suit everyone. So, Mandy and I set about creating the missing piece of the puzzle,” Megan explains.

The what
Ever thought about the ridiculous-sounding jargon on the back of your products? Turns out you may not want to be putting some of it on your face.
“I have a shellfish allergy and some of the scientific sounding names in skincare and makeup actually mean they contain products that set off my skin,” Mandy says. “And Megan has Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome so suffers from acne, so we both struggled to find products without ingredients that irritated these conditions.”
