DÉCOR
I love everything about Brick + Mortar Creative. I love the concept. I love that there’s free wifi — we all know that home is where the wifi is. I love the space – there’s loads of it. I love the long tables. It’s warm, friendly and welcoming. Every time I visit, there’s a new small business on display showcasing their amazing work. From fashion and kid’s shoes to stationery and bespoke skateboards – there’s always a surprise!
FOOD
The coffee is spot on and I’m not going to lie, I had cake for breakfast. But they told me it was ‘healthy’, so naturally I believed them. It was delicious! They have a range of peckish delights to choose from. If you’re after big hearty eggs and bacon, this isn’t the place for you. You might have to trade the hot breakfast in for a cup of tea and a quiche or muffin.
KID FRIENDLY?
I couldn’t believe it, Brick + Mortar Creative truly won my heart when I saw a kids corner – with tables, chairs, toys, a book shelf and art and craft on the tables. Clearly the owner has kids, they know exactly what makes a child AND parent happy.

Ah sadly there is no dedicated kids section anymore 🙁
They do still have a few books and bags of blocks etc downstairs though.
