We can’t promise a visit with the wizard, but there’s always something exciting happening along Jetty Road.

By day, beach dwellers are spoilt for choice. By night, Jetty Road, Glenelg offers up its unforgettable sunsets and the area transforms into a mecca of eateries, lit up with the new Moseley Square fairy lights. This buzzing strip is never shut and there’s always plenty to see and do.

Perhaps, like us, you’ve visited Jetty Road many times to pop into the businesses you know and love, like Cibo, Attitudes, The Moseley Bar & Kitchen or The Beach House. Or maybe you’ve been enticed by the shiny new names on the strip — like Bottega Gelateria, with all its rich gelato; Terra & Sol, with an all-day menu filled with food and bevvies; or Sherpa Dining, with its exciting Australian take on traditional Nepalese food.

But what about everything you haven’t yet explored? Oh, the places you’ll go! Jetty Road is brimming with secret spots just waiting to be discovered — here are some of our faves.

On clear mornings, soak in the morning sun at a table out the front of Swedish Tarts while you wait for the caffeine fix to hit.

And if you’re visiting Jetty Road around 10am on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays, pop into Il Cafe and you may just be lucky enough to score one of their sought after zeppoles — be quick though, these babies disappear fast!
