Direct from her wonderful brain, Kookery celebrates the little things in your day — like enjoying a pot of tea!
And it all began from a very real place: “I was working in life insurance which was definitely not giving me joy so I wanted to start something creative, practical and beautiful — something that would combine all the things I love in life.”
Cooking, eating cheese, drinking gin, sipping tea, having a LOL and spending time in the garden are just a few of the things that make Amy tick. So she combined them with her other love, words! “Words make me happy, especially puns; I mean who doesn’t love a cheese pun, right? You complete brie — it’s a classic,” smiles Amy.

Her words and food-puns are designed, handcrafted and printed on kitchen utensils like tea towels, canvas tote bags, art prints and cards, aprons, t-shirts, enamel pins and cheese tower toppers, bringing extra pizazz to your kitchen! “My favourite part of being the designer is to see it grow from my own head into a laugh, giggle and smile on your face,” says Amy.
Smiles all round, her shop is as cute-asa-button and a wonderland for foodies who love to laugh. As well as showcasing Amy’s fun bits and bobs, it also offers beautiful homewares and products that she loves like cheese paddles, bread knives, mortar and pestles, indoor hanging planter pots, measuring glasses and homewares — there’s a gift for every foodie.
