SA’s Banana Boogie Bakery is award winning for a reason — their products are ace! Now they’ve taken it to the next level with their party range and we can’t imagine another birthday without them. So let’s deep dive… what’s on offer? We have to start with the loaded vanilla slice slabs. I mean, come on — they’re a complete show stopper.

“We created this range because our loaded vanilla slice was so popular and we already make the traditional vanilla slice as a slab cake — so we thought, why not combine the two together?” said owner and head baker Jason.
These decadent desserts are set to impress all party-goers and come in four flavours, including Nuts About You — a peanut butter custard base topped with Picnic, Snickers and Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups; My Caramel Romance — a caramel custard base with Caramel Crowns, Twix and Mars Bars; Mint To Be — a choc-mint custard base topped with Peppermint Crisp, Peppermint Aero and Mint Kit Kat; and Death By Chocolate, which features a rich chocolate custard base loaded up with Twirls, Kit Kats and Crunchies. It’s a big YUM from us!
And from extra large right down to mini, the new cocktail range from Banana Boogie will hit the spot in between drinks at your next shindig. The savoury cocktail food is bite-sized and easily reheated in the oven, so even the most inexperienced host can nail the catering. Choose from vegan, spinach and fetta or traditional pasties, classic meat or chicken and leek pies, and sausage rolls. Or, order a mixed selection for a lucky dip!
And surely eating eleven mini custard tarts is better than eating one normal-sized one, right? At least, that’s what we’re telling ourselves. Banana Boogie has downsized their most popular sweet treats so you no longer have to choose — you can just have one of each! Mini donuts in all the best flavours, bite-sized vanilla slices and tiny custard tarts are all on the menu, and they’re the perfect addition to a dessert grazing table. Location, location
A solo bakery in Belair was ok for a while… until the demand grew and grew! With customers travelling from near and far to get their hands on Banana Boogie goods, owners Jason and Kelly decided it was time to open a second store in North Plympton. It’s all the same products made with the same recipes — just in a shiny new shop.
