Finally, a shopping centre that’s actually good for you. Welcome to North Adelaide Village.

If you haven’t been in a while, it’s time to rediscover this old favourite and suss out the newbies on the block. So, pull up your leggings and let’s do a circuit of the centre.

Goodlife Gym

With over 270,000 members Australia wide, Goodlife trainers want every Adelady to lead a more active lifestyle. Whether it’s a daily high-intensity gym workout, a walk to school pick-up or allowing 20 minutes each day to just breathe — they know everyone’s gym goals are different and they want to support whatever yours may be. With a great offering of classes and top-of-the-range equipment, they’re ready to help you live your best life.

Bowlsome

If 2020 was a food, this would be it. Wholesome goodness served in the simplest of vessels. Hot smoked salmon, chicken curry, braised lamb, tuna poke, cabbage roll — whatever tickles your fancy, you can make up your perfect bowl to go or to devour immediately. Dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan options available.

Pippo

Taking over Café Paesano’s prime position, Pippo is the newcomer to the Centre and welcomes families from afar. This kid-friendly café serves up fresh, seasonal produce packed full of flavour, as well as house-made pastries and A-grade coffee all day long. Owners James and Danielle say their new restaurant is for everyone. “It’s for parents who can’t be bothered cooking, or those just wanting a special-occasion meal.” Open for dinner, seven days a week, 7pm until late.

The wonderful Romeo’s team is always there to give advice on everything from food and nutrition to personal products, natural medicine and pet care. They even have a naturopathic clinic on site.

Brazilian Beauty

You’ll step out of this beauty salon feeling like the fairest one of all. You can unwind with a massage, have your makeup done by a professional makeup artist, get weekend ready with a tan and a Brazilian wax (they go hand in hand) or treat yourself to a laser hair removal session… or 10. They also offer a long list of facials, like microdermabrasion, skin needling and even vampire facials.

Metropolitan Fresh

Surrounded by fresh fruit, veggies and flowers, this 30-years-young classic North Adelaide hotspot is always reinventing itself, with raw treats, vegan-friendly options and soul-warming meals. And their skinny chai lattes are ace.
