Pear, petite, long, tall, short, curvy, bigger thighs, smaller boobs, post-baby bodies, currently preggy — you name it, our Adelady team has body shapes that are poles apart.

We love to shop! But while united in this, we’ve got completely different tastes and range in ages from early twenties to just shy of fifty! Just like Paula Abdul crooned in the nineties, beauty lies in our differences so why would we try to dress the same? With places like the Myer Centre, there’s no need to.

Myer Centre Adelaide has so many brands in fashion, homewares, beauty, toys and more — our crew is covered and we’re confident you’ll find what you’re after, too.

The fashun!

For the mamas, the papas, the babas and everyone in between, there are threads to boot. From something that dazzles better than Dazzleland to everyday outfits for the whole fam, there are choices galore in Myer and the independent retailers in the centre.

Our everyday wardrobes are stocked with Myer purchases, including Staple The Label right through to our comfiest Bonds trackies; and dotted with pieces from Katies, Jacqui E, Noni B and Ally Fashion in the centre.

Myer’s a sure-fire stop whenever we have an event on the horizon, with brands like Miss Shop, Stella, All About Eve, Seed Heritage, Sass & Bide and Forever New. Step back in time to explore vintage gems at Adelaide Vintage; and for romantic designs with quirky finishes, Review has plenty of fun prints and fifties silhouettes.

Our quest for comfort has us regularly stepping foot in Urban Street Gear for cool kicks, or Platypus Shoes for a smorgasbord of brands from around the globe.

The centre’s got us covered with lingerie, sleepwear, maternity, plus sizes, petite sizes and every accessory you can think of! My mama took me to Myer for my first-ever training bra, and I still go for quality lingerie with brands like Berlei, Calvin Klein, Chloe & Lola, or when I need Nancy Ganz on side.

Home sweet home

Myer’s the place for all the homeware basics, or those top-quality purchases we’ve longed for. Tefal, KitchenAid and Salt & Pepper line our kitchens, while Maxwell and Williams fuels our tea obsessions. Vue, Linen House and Sheridan sheets and towels keep our households rested and clean, while lighthearted and colourful designs from Hiccups make our kids’ bedtimes more fun.

Beauty queens (and kings)

There’s a full menu of top brands in haircare and beauty in the centre, with the likes of Hairhouse Warehouse; LUSH fresh handmade cosmetics; plus health and pharmaceutical items from Priceline and Chemist Warehouse. Not to mention M.A.C., Aesop, Clarins, Estee Lauder, skincare, haircare, fragrance, men’s cologne and grooming in Myer!

Small fries

Between us, we’re raising uni kids, teens, tweens and tiny tots, and the stork will be dropping by soon. So, when it comes to kids’ clothing, sleepwear, accessories, carriers and entertainment, there’s no hesitation in where to go.

For everything that rolls, including roller skates, skateboards, scooters and inline skates, Da Klinic is a must. And to keep us comfy in activewear while we chase the little demons, Rebel gets it done in one fell swoop. For tots right up to teens, Toyworld has all our LEGO, John Deere, Barbie, dress ups, outdoor toys and more. But a hot tip: hit it up sans-kids or you’ll struggle not to buy it all!

Adorable brands like Milkshake, Jack & Milly and Bardot Junior in Myer make it simple to buy the perfect gift or deck out the kiddos. And keeping busy little hands creative is a cinch at Kaisercraft with a long list of arts and crafts.

Retail therapy

Pressies for a special someone is a breeze with trusted names like Angus & Coote, Grahams and Shiels. And when our credit cards can’t take any more, we pop downstairs to refuel. Best of all, there’s no arguing over where to go! We split up, grab a Boost Juice, a fresh sandwich, some tasty Bing Boy or a burger from Boneshaker. Next time you need retail therapy to cover all bases, head straight to the trusty wonder emporium that’s never failed us yet.
