Outside of home engineering, being a wife and business partner, juggling three young children and sneaking off to a hot yoga session whenever possible, Rachel has worked super hard to create a business that not only feeds her love for organisation and fashion, but benefits women of all ages, lifestyles and personalities.
I wish we could all have a little bit of Rachel in us – imagine how much neater and less cluttered our lives would be!
After working in the fashion world, and between having her beautiful babies, Rachel noticed the constant lack of self-acceptance and flawed body image that women brought into the change-rooms.
“From that point, I wanted to show women how to dress for their body shape, maximise the wear of their potential purchases and improve their self-esteem.”
From there, Rachel quickly armed herself with a Style Coaching Degree and was ready to take the plunge into the entrepreneurial pool. And so, Little Bird Styling was born.
Since 2014, Rachel has been working with ladies all over Adelaide and she’s mastered the Wardrobe Detox. She shows us how to clear the clutter, teaches us how to shop for our body shape and reminds us what we need rather than following fads, (see HERE).
If that’s not enough, she also offers personal Styling Sessions AND most importantly, she is one of our beautiful Adelady writers!
As you can see, she’s a bloody superwoman, so today she’s wearing our Inspirational Adelady cape and sharing some of her fave places to shop in Adelaide!

Fave Places to Shop
1. KMART
I know right! Here’s why I love it. It’s affordable, stocks new season trends and has a generous range of sizes. Furthermore if you want to try a trend or a style that’s out of your comfort zone, here’s a great way to give it a go before investing 10’s or 100’s of dollars on something you may not particularly like in the future. I’m digging these trapeze t-shirts and they are $5!

2. Pari
One of my local boutique favourites would be Pari in Glenelg and King William Road. While they stock sumptuous homewares, their fashion includes edgy investment pieces. Be prepared to splash some cash, but with the right choices you will have a cool go to piece that will be worth every cent. I die for their Angel Wings brand, this is on my hit list now.

3. Myer
Sorry Adelady’s that it’s not a local business but I’m super conscious that my clients (as do many of you) look for affordability, one-stop shops, good sizing options and not all of you live or work in Adelaide full time. Surprisingly, Myer’s is where I take my clients denim jean shopping. They have a great selection and variety of brands plus I can fit my ladies from their 20’s to their 60’s in the same location. For anyone wanting to try a ripped boyfriend jean, these are perfect due to being a little higher in the waist for that extra tummy support and appropriate for all ages.
