If you’re looking for a spectacular venue to celebrate your special day, we’ve found it.

Like something out of a romantic fantasy novel, Sunnybrae Estate is a dazzling garden estate, perfect for weddings and big celebrations.

Just 10 minutes from our CBD, it’s one of Adelaide’s best kept secrets. Back in the 1880s, the estate was privately owned and used as farmland. Now, the buildings have been respectfully and beautifully renovated and the grounds maintained impeccably by the Liapis family.

So, it’s time to let this secret out of the bag. Here are five things you didn’t know about Sunnybrae Estate.

1. The location

Who would have thought that the industrial suburb of Regency Park was home to a spectacular wedding venue? With lush green lawns overlooking historical buildings and flower gardens, you’d assume you’re in for a fair drive to get there. Instead, Sunnybrae Estate is just five minutes from North Adelaide.

2. The exceptional food and wine

Don’t expect a generic alternate drop here — Sunnybrae Estate prides itself on outstanding food and wine packages. The lucky staff have regular lunch meetings where they taste and discuss what Head Chef Simon Richardson has put on the menu. General Manager Jimmy says, “Our team are our best critics, and it’s imperative that they absolutely love what we serve our guests”.

3. The personalised service and attention to detail

Just ask anyone who has planned a wedding with Sunnybrae Estate and they’ll tell you how remarkable the service is. Event managers Simmone and Dragana will go above and beyond to make sure you go into your wedding day relaxed and excited. They take all the stress away so you can have the most memorable day of your life — for all the right reasons. But don’t just believe us — here’s what some recent brides had to say about their wedding coordinators.

“Thank you so much Dragana for all your support throughout the process of the wedding, you made everything so easy and stress free!” Amy said.

“We were so happy and overwhelmed with every single element you provided us. Everything was absolutely perfect. All of our family, friends and guests were so impressed and thrilled with the quality of food, service and professionalism received and Sunnybrae exceeded all of our expectations!” Stacey said.

“Simmone, everyone said how fantastic you were on the night and how nothing was too much trouble. You ensured we had a wonderful and relaxed day/night and we cannot thank you enough. We wish we could do it all over again,” Samantha said.

5. The photo ops
