Ahhhh February. The month where you finally get your head out of the holiday haze and get back into some sort of, dare I say it… routine. There’s no need to wallow though friends — Adelaide is about to turn it ON!

Summer nights are still in full swing, LIV golf is back (woohoo!), and Fringe season officially kicks off (say less)! Basically, this month’s calendar is stacked with world-class sport, live music, festivals and food-fuelled fun. So do yourselves a favour and get amongst it!

We’ve handpicked a few of our standouts for February (check them out in our Pineapple Picks). Then scroll on for a full list of what’s on in Adelaide.

*You’ll also find a selection of Fringe shows we’ve heard about on the grapevine here. Jump ahead if you’re planning your Fringe diary early.

If you stumble across anything else that we need to know about… You know the drill — tag us @adelady!

Pineapple Picks

Here are a few things we’re extra excited about in December!

LIV Golf — The Grange Golf Club
12 – 15 February

LIV Golf is back and bigger than ever. Expect world-class players, huge crowds, live entertainment, and an atmosphere that’s more festival than fairway. Whether you’re a golf tragic or just here for the vibes (and boy are there vibes!), this is one of Adelaide’s most electric sporting events of the year.

Adelaide Fringe Festival — Various locations
20 February – 22 March

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for — Fringe season is ON. Think comedy, cabaret, circus, chaos, and fun, colourful people taking over the city for five glorious weeks. From garden bars to pop-up venues and late-night laughs, Adelaide Fringe is pure summer magic and an absolute must.

You’ll find us lapping up the atmosphere in Gluttony — one of the Fringe’s most vibrant hubs, packed with must-see shows, buzzing bars and the kind of energy that makes you want to keep going back.

Brilliant Brass Presents James and William Morrison — Walford Anglican School Auditorium
22 February

A night of seriously impressive music from one of Australia’s most iconic musical families. James Morrison and son William take the stage with Brilliant Brass. Conducted by Bruce Raymond OAM, you’re in for an electrifying evening of jazz, brass and pure brilliance. Expect big sounds, smooth moments and musical talent at its finest.

Adelaide Motorsport Festival — Victoria Park
28 February – 1 March

Victoria Park comes alive with revving engines and roaring crowds. This action-packed weekend celebrates classic and modern motorsport with high-octane track action, car displays and entertainment for all ages. A must for rev-heads — and surprisingly fun even if you’re not one.
