March, you absolute show-off… and festival season is only just warming up!
The Fringe glitter is still going strong, the long weekend is calling, global music legends are rolling into town and our calendar is looking borderline chaotic (in the best way).
From markets to concerts, and kids’ shows to community fundraisers — this month is sufficiently stacked! So clear some space in that diary and get among it.
We’ve handpicked a few of our standouts for March (check them out in our Pineapple Picks). Then scroll on for a full list of what’s on in Adelaide this month.
*You’ll also find a selection of Fringe shows we’ve heard about on the grapevine here. Jump ahead if you’re planning your Fringe diary.

Here are a few things we’re extra excited about in March!
WOMADelaide — Botanic Park / Tainmuntilla
6 – 9 March
Four days. Global artists. Picnic rugs as far as the eye can see. WOMADelaide is the ultimate long-weekend energy. World-class music, dance, culture and food all set under the trees. It’s wholesome, vibrant and one of those ‘recharge your soul’ kind of events.
Adelaide Festival — Various locations
27 February – 15 March
Big personalities, bold performances and standing ovations galore. From theatre and dance to installations and international acts, this is arts season at its finest.
Adelaide Fringe — Various locations
20 February – 22 March
Fringe fever is still well and truly alive. Comedy, cabaret, circus, chaos — and garden bars that somehow convince you to book ‘just one more show.’ If you haven’t filled your Fringe diary yet… what are you even doing?
Don’t know where to start? Simply walk into Gluttony and see where you end up. The sights, sounds and smells are guaranteed to tantalise all your senses… and then some!
