Warm Up and Serve Soup Drive

The Women’s Legal Service are choosing to #warmupandserve this August to raise much needed funds to help improve access to justice for women and their children. They will be selling soup to warm the soul but also help spread that warmth to more women and children. Currently 60% of the women who contact them are experiencing or escaping family and/or domestic violence (over 1 in 2), 64% have children and 1507 women are living on or under $26,000 per year.
On the day, they will have for sale: minestrone soup, pea and ham soup as well as sweet potato, pear and ginger soup.
