Taking over Nature’s Providore in August 2024 wasn’t just a business decision for Aniqa Komal — it was a leap of passion. An ode to her huge heart and infectious spirit, her aim was to create a happy and inviting place where visitors young and old could gather to eat delicious food, drink great coffee and feel completely welcomed in the process. Original staff members continue to run the floor with a smile and head chef of nine years, Barb, is still doing what she does best in the kitchen. And yes, folks, her famous scrambled eggs remain on the menu!

Aniqa takes pride in offering an affordable menu that suits all dietary needs, sourcing the freshest produce and buying locally whenever possible. “It’s so important that small businesses support one another,” she explains. Given that Hayley and Lauren created Adelady over banana bread and watermelon juice at Nature’s Providore all those years ago, Aniqa’s commitment to supporting local feels especially fitting!

Aniqa has infused the space with her big personality and even bigger heart, fostering a sense of belonging between the staff and the patrons that make everyone feel like family. “People walk in for the great food, but it’s the warmth and welcoming atmosphere that keeps our customers coming back,” expresses Aniqa.
