On October 9, Victoria Square will be lit up with thousands of colourful lanterns for Light the Night. On the same day, Australians will unite at walks across the country  to help families affected by blood cancer. Light a gold lantern to remember a loved one, white for your own journey, or blue to show you care. Money raised will fund leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma research as well as emotional and practical support.

Schedule of Events:

6:00pm – Event Starts & Lantern Collection

7:00pm – Onstage Entertainment & Official Welcome

8:00pm – Lantern Lighting Ceremony

8:15pm – Light the Night Walk

9:00pm – Official Close

Facilities: A variety of cuisines made fresh from local Adelaide food trucks.

Transportation & Parking: Check your local bus/train schedule. Parking is available at the Henry Waymouth Carpark, located at 100 Waymouth Street. $5.00 flat rate to park after 5:00pm for anyone attending Light the Night.

Pets: Whilst we all love our pets, Light the Night is a pet free event.
