Pizza, cocktails and gorgeous views of Glenelg — what more could you want from your local pizza place? Oh, I know, BALLS!

DoughBalls The Pizza Place is the newest food experience in Moseley Square, serving up bite-sized, mouthwatering DoughBalls!

This fun, friendly, family food adventure is like nothing else in SA. “Our menu is simple but amazing! We have our incredible DoughBalls (our signature dish), but also thin and crispy pizza bases that everyone drools over,” says owner Cat Devlin.

So what are DoughBalls? They’re twice proved dough, cooked in the oven, then served warm and dressed with either sweet or savoury toppings. “The originals, served plain with garlic butter are a family favourite and everyone seems to rave about our Bruschetta and Baked Cheese DoughBalls too,” smiles Cat.

Then, just when you think life couldn’t get any better, they also have dessert balls, like Choc-Cinnamon and French Toast.

And there’s plenty more on the menu too! They offer 12 to 15-inch thin and crispy pizzas, ideal for sharing and served with lots of gourmet toppings. If you’re watching your love-handles, the DoughBalls Pizza Lite is a must-try. It’s a pizza, minus the middle bit so there’s less dough — which means less carbs and they fill the hole with a garden salad instead!

And if you like wine with your balls, no worries. Their wine list is full of your SA favourites, so you’ll feel right at home.

Before you beeline to Moseley Square, you also need to know about their Bottomless Brunch. Here’s the deal — once a month, you get a choice of DoughBalls or pizza and then, two hours of endless cocktails! Jump on the DoughBalls socials to check when the next event is taking place.

Wine or no wine, Cat and her friendly team welcome everyone into their colourful world. “We encourage people to come straight from their day out on the beach, or for date night — and with our gorgeous views from the upstairs balcony at sunset, it’s very romantic.”
