Over a five-month season, you can enter a culinary world of local food and drinks, featuring Kangaroo Island Spirits’ famous gin, a wine list boasting only Kangaroo Island drops, plus a selection of SA’s best craft beers.

And here’s the deal… keep it under wraps because it’s pretty damn special. SeaLink has partnered with Gastronomo to bring you a  2 Day / 1 Night Kangaroo Island Sip & See Tour + Lunch at the Enchanted Fig Tree! The package includes two incredible days on the island, being chauffeured around to some of the best food, wine and wildlife experiences.

Here’s your itinerary:

Day 1

You’ll escape the mainland and jump on the SeaLink Ferry to Penneshaw, where you’ll meet your Tour Guide. From there, you and a small group of up to 20 people will spend the day exploring places like Raptor Domain Birds of Prey Show with Wedge-Tailed Eagles, a Barn Owl, Falcon and other birds of prey. You’ll also learn all about this amazing rescue and rehabilitation centre for injured birds.

This is followed by a two-course lunch and Guided Tour at Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, a visit to Clifford’s Honey Farm Shop for some Ligurian Bee Honey tastings, Gin and Liquor tastings at Kangaroo Island Spirits, South Australia’s first boutique gin distillery.

But it gets better — you’ll then visit the Cellar Door at False Cape Wines over on the Dudley Peninsula for a structured wine tasting and to take in the gorgeous views.

Wrap up your tour at Kangaroo Island Seafront Hotel in Penneshaw to stay overnight. Hot tip: The Penneshaw Hotel is the perfect dinner location, overlooking the coastline AND they do a mean seafood platter.

Day 2

You’ll have free time in the morning to go for a wander around Penneshaw and gear up for the BEST DAY EVER! A private transfer will transport you to The Enchanted Fig Tree Lunch where you’ll experience a menu inspired by sea, land and earth and a Kangaroo Island Spirits cocktail on arrival!

And of course, SeaLink will get you home safely after your incredible dining experience.

This once in a lifetime experience starts from $753.50pp twin share, departing from Cape Jervis and it’s the perfect way to see a snapshot of Kangaroo Island in all its glory!
