Charleston Farm

Escape to Charleston Farm, a colour-loving flower farm tucked away in the Adelaide Hills. Here, the pace is slower, the air is fresh and nature puts on a show from spring to autumn. Their seasonal blooms are grown with love and made to be shared — from lush ranunculus and dreamy peonies to statement dahlias, hydrangeas and more. Take a wander through the fields and you won’t just be admiring the beauty, you’ll be completely surrounded by it!

Make sure to book into a popular ‘Pick Your Own’ flower experience (no walk-ins) to wander through vibrant rows of blooms and hand-pick your favourites. It’s the perfect way to pause and reconnect with nature… and add some beauties to your camera roll!

Want to dial up the vibe? Keep an eye out for their Snip + Sip sessions at golden hour. It’s flower picking with a drink in hand, sunset views and a curated grazing box to enjoy. Whether you’re there to reset or to celebrate something special, Charleston Farm aims to make each moment feel unique and unforgettable.

Hahndorf Farm Barn

Hahndorf Farm Barn

The Hahndorf Farm Barn just keeps getting cuter! Not only is this one of the best ways to introduce your littlies to farm life in the glorious Adelaide Hills, but they’re now expanding the experience so you can stay overnight. The six brand-new cabins are functional and beautiful, offering a cosy and memorable stay complete with breathtaking views across the property. Each cabin is completely unique and dripping in colour. Choose between a one- or two-bedroom configuration, and you can even book as a group in the farmhouse for larger family or group stays.

During your time at the Hahndorf Farm Barn, you won’t just get to relax… you’ll also get hands-on with an authentic farming experience by milking the cows in the morning, collecting the eggs and feeding the baby animals. Heaven!

The cabins open in December 2025, so don’t miss your opportunity to be one of the first to stay.

Kimbolton Wines

Kimbolton Wines

We’re calling it — Kimbolton Wines in Langhorne Creek was made for summer! Drive through the vines to their cellar door and find yourself a seat out on the grass under the trees, on the deck, on the rooftop under a big umbrella, or inside next to the huge windows overlooking endless vineyard views.

You might think you’re just there for a tasting, but something tells us you’ll spend the whole day instead! Don’t leave a single family member at home — Kimbolton is kid and dog-friendly. They even have their own kids’ tasting flights with Fleurieu Milk and Bickford’s Cordial, so no one feels left out. Once you’ve picked your drink of choice (we recommend the rosé spritz for a refreshing twist), settle under the trees and stay entertained with lawn games galore. Don’t forget to grab a bottle to take home on the way out — maybe a Cabernet Sauvignon, which raises funds for Zoos SA’s support of the cheetahs.

SOL Rooftop and Eos by SkyCity

This summer, we’re beelining for Eos by SkyCity. Why? Because it’s a luxurious, resort-style accommodation, smack-bang in the middle of the city.

summer spesh shanx mini golf

SHANX Mini Golf

SHANX Mini Golf

Imagine a full-sized 18-hole golf course, complete with fairways, greens and bunkers… and now imagine it’s been shrunk down so the entire family can have a swing! You won’t spot a giant windmill or any novelty holes here — just a beautifully manicured course that doesn’t take a full day to get around. Their mission is to redefine the minigolf experience by offering challenging (but fun) environments that still capture the essence of real golf. Practise your putting, or simply have a crack at golf for the very first time. Everyone’s welcome, with plenty of ooh-ahh moments and hole-in-ones up for grabs!

Since opening their first course in Regency Park in 2021, SHANX Mini Golf now has three locations for you to enjoy across Adelaide: Regency Park, Little Para and their brand-new SHANX @ South Lakes in Goolwa.

Wildhand Farm

Wildhand Farm

This might just be the cutest farm date ever! At Wildhand Farm (a regenerative Australian native flower farm), you can book your very own experience and hang out with their gorgeous Highland cows. These fluffy guys love a brush, a cuddle and a snack — and you’ll be right there in the paddock with them, getting to know each of their quirky personalities.

Your host, Reece, will chauffeur you around the farm, where you’ll not only meet the cows, but also stop by the flower fields, say hello to the chickens, and soak up those dreamy Willunga views. You can also meet their new Valais Blacknose Sheep in their very own experience, too!

These experiences are one hour of pure joy, designed just for your group of two to five people (aged 12 and up). Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, cheeky date or just because, this is one of those best-day-ever experiences you’ll talk about forever!
