While the AFL season may be wrapping up, the AFLW season is just heating up — so why not keep the footy fever alive and cheer on these incredible women! The best part? Spring weather is perfect for getting out there and soaking up the action.
Our mighty Crows girls are off to a flying start with two wins already this season (woohoo!), and now they’re getting set to take on Hawthorn and Essendon over the next two weekends in their first home games at Unley Oval.
But here’s the kicker (pun intended) — these games are offering up more than just footy; they’re the ultimate day out! While watching these fierce athletes put their bodies on the line and leave it all on the field, we ‘mere mortals’ can kick back, relax, and indulge in some serious wine-ing and dining amidst the beautiful grounds of Unley Oval. Fair? Maybe not. Fabulous? Absolutely!
There’ll be something for everyone; a sign-making competition with MECCA vouchers up for grabs (get crafty kids — Mumma needs an eye cream), plus food trucks, a barbecue, a variety of drink options, and a kids’ zone with a jumping castle. And, wait for it — a Bird in Hand Sparkling Bar with a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival… don’t mind if I do!
