Just like a BLT, it’s quick, uncomplicated and you’re guaranteed to be satisfied with a trip to the Riverland.

Just two hours from Adelaide, this vibrant region is perfect for a no-fuss getaway with family or loved ones or for a special occasion. It’s full to the brim with water fun and down-to-earth locals, but our favourite way to experience this destination is via our tastebuds. That’s because it’s the home of exceptional seasonal fruit and vegetables, premium wine, spirits, beer and cider — with over half of South Australian wine originating in the region.

So, here are our favourite places to fill our bellies and our hearts…

1. Riverland Wine Centre | WEBSITE

New to the region, this is the place to go if you want to sample more than 20 Riverland wines in one sweet spot. Add a dash of history behind these iconic brands and you’ll be up to speed with some of the greatest local success stories while filling your tummy, too.
