Kick things off with a drink
Imagine this: you’re strolling through the lush gardens, sipping on a crisp glass of wine with the resident winery dog, Chap, trotting at your side. Sounds dreamy, right? That’s exactly what’s waiting for you at Cobb’s Hill Estate’s cellar door. Here, you can sample their cool-climate, estate-grown wines and seriously delicious gins. Taste your way through their range as their dedicated team members tell stories about what makes Cobb’s Hill so special. And finish off by picking your fave of the bunch and enjoy a glass out in the charming gardens.
Open 11am–4pm Monday to Friday, and 10am–5pm Saturday and Sunday, so make sure you work Cobb’s Hill Estate into your next Adelaide Hills wine tasting adventure!

Chances are that after your tasting, you won’t be ready to leave this scenic paradise just yet. Settle in for a little longer, with a delightful lunch at their seasonal restaurant! The menu here is all about fresh, seasonal goodness, thanks to a farm-to-table philosophy that’s set to impress. You can dine out in the gardens or up on the terrace dining area, looking out over the landscape with a bottle of Cobb’s Hill’s best to keep you company.
Their seasonal menus change regularly, so every visit is a new adventure for your tastebuds. Some fan favourites are the Cobb’s grass-fed lamb; the roasted cauliflower with ancient grains; or any of their handmade woodfired Roman-style pizzas. Bookings are essential, so make sure you snag a spot in advance. You don’t want to miss out on this mouth-watering experience!
Celebrate the big moments
Their brand-new event pavilion is stunning. In fact, we booked the 2025 Adelady International Women’s Day event as soon as we saw it! It’s ideal for weddings or any other big event you’ve been dreaming of. It’s modern, elegant and perfectly placed among the estate’s natural beauty.
If you’re planning something a little more intimate, you can also book the restaurant and verandah area for events with up to 80 guests. Whether it’s a romantic picnic by the pond or a special birthday bash, Cobb’s Hill Estate has plenty of different settings to choose from.
