Is it just me, or does August always feel like a bit of a grind? The novelty of winter has worn off, and you’re craving some real warmth (of the non-electric blanket variety). That said, you don’t want to spend the next month rocking in a (cold) corner at home. This is actually the perfect time to get out and about to keep your spirits high!

If you’re into the Arts, there’s a tonne of incredible SALA exhibitions to check out (we’ve listed a few below), as well as theatre shows and live music. Classic car enthusiasts — take a leisurely drive up to the National Motor Museum in Birdwood to check out the historic Holdens on display. Creative types might like to book into a workshop, like a candle or perfume mixology session at Red Rosie. And if you really need something wholesome to get you through to spring, we highly recommend booking into a Puppy Yoga class at Yoga Paws. Because there ain’t no better way to fight off seasonal gloom than rolling around on the floor with puppies!
