They had us at home-made focaccia! Sitting pretty on King William Road’s main shopping strip, Tonino not only serves up authentic sandwiches, but coffee, wine, cocktails and sweet treats. A perfect place to fuel up before some retail therapy!

Ino serves up everything from pastries, traditional zeppole and pizza, but as the name suggests, their paninis are the star of the show. Your only problem will be choosing your filling, because honestly, they’re all bellissimo!

Munch Deli – 6/82 King William St, Adelaide
What began as a food truck is now a cosy hole-in-the-wall cafe. Munch Deli is a friendly neighbourhood spot for a quick, flavour-packed feed. Described by the owners as a ‘fusion deli,’ each sando tells a story and blends a part of their Vietnamese culture into every bite. Prepare to drooooool.

Pinco Deli – 73 Glen Osmond Rd, Eastwood
Pinco Deli serves up Italian-inspired sarnies, focaccias and top-quality Willow Blend coffee. All of their offerings are beyond impressive, but #4 has my heart well and truly — warm toasty focaccia, mortadella, salami, provolone, mayonnaise, tomato, pickled giardiniera and basil (plus I always add chilli paste). Droolingggggg.

With two locations to choose from, Bottega Bandito is inspired (but not bound) by tradition. They offer up classic sandwiches with their own unique twist, plus fresh local coffee that’ll have you coming back for more every time. The place to be on Jetty Rd, Dante’s Deli serves up Italian-inspired deli sandwiches, fresh pastries and Hark coffee. A neighbourhood fave (which all makes sense once you get your teeth around their sangas).

Our Boy Roy – 114 East Ave, Clarence Park
Our Boy Roy is a Clarence Park icon. The ultra-modern space is filled with smells of the delicious menu items, including (but definitely not limited to) a Chicago-inspired beef roll, a sando overflowing with mortadella, a classic Reuben with a Roy’s Secret Sauce twist and even a meatball and sugo sub.

Lucia’s – Adelaide Central Market
Onto the sandwich craze long before it was trending, Lucia’s has been serving up their classic Italian sarnies for years and is an Adelaide staple. You choose your base — panino, focaccia, croissant, bagel or roll — and then get loading with plenty of fresh meat and veggie fillings to choose from.

Located at the bottom of the Santos building, Bluprint has you sorted. Their crisp, airy focaccias are baked fresh in-house daily, filled with fresh and local produce and toasted to perfection.

Aye Frank is all about unique Italian-inspired paninis and the highest quality coffee going round. Plus, the owners, Frankie and Matthew, have managed to include their passion for music in their new project with an actual recording studio in the venue!
