Brunch (noun) — a late morning meal eaten instead of breakfast and lunch.
Sounds like a two-for-one deal to me… and who doesn’t love a bargain, right ladies?!
I feel like going for brunch is one of those occasions that makes you feel (even just for that moment in time) that you have your life together. It’s just so civilised! (Disclaimer — feelings may be influenced by coffee).

What I also love about brunch is that the menu tends to cater for whatever you’re craving, and that the ‘rules’ of what you should eat and when, simply go out the window:
Fancy something traditional? The bacon and egg selection will have you covered. Got a sweet tooth? Waffles or pancakes will hit the spot. On a health kick? Bircher muesli or a smoothie will keep you on track. Had a big night? Go on — get the burger with a hash brown on the side, it will do you good!
The issue we have found is that despite the endless brunch options available, when the opportunity arises to choose somewhere we often go blank. The problem here is that you then spend the next 30 minutes googling ‘brunch spots in Adelaide’ and reading reviews, all whilst getting hangrier and hangrier until you give up and surrender to a piece of Vegemite toast. Defeat! Utter demoralising defeat!
