Hey river cats, when are you booked in for your next trip up to our divine Riverland? The region is in full recovery mode as we speak, after weeks of flooding and extreme water levels that did so much damage to homes and businesses in the area.

So what can we do? Well — we can BOOK! Book a holiday, book a day trip, book in for a delicious meal, book a beer tasting, book a gin experience. It doesn’t matter what floats your boat, as long as you simply book.

South Australia has shown time and time again how great we are at rallying around each other and showing our support whenever we can. This is one of those times, where we all need to rise up for the River. And to get the ball rolling, we thought we’d share some inspo of a few of our favourite places to visit when you’re next cruising around river side. Enjoy!

The Frames

Talk about LUXURY! The Frames is made up of three isolated retreats, that sit high along the cliff-tops overlooking the Murray River. That’s right — when you stay here, you can expect views for daaaays!

With six-star retreats available for two to four guests, sit back in absolute paradise with your lover or the people closest to you, and soak in your surrounds in top-level comfort. Each retreat has it’s own private heated pool, all the amenities you could wish for, and the choice to personalise your experience to make it perfect for you.

Complete your getaway with one of their incredible experiences, including a sunset cruise with bubbles and nibbles, or a tour around the Riverland as you taste amazing wines and foods. And if you’d rather just curl up and enjoy the serenity, you can have gourmet meals delivered straight to your room instead.

The Frames is a destination we’ve been lucky enough to visit time and time again, and all we can say is — make a booking! You won’t regret it!

Twenty Third Street Distillery

Ahhh, the home of one of our favourite gins in SA! But that’s not all — they’re also the creators of some delicious brandy, rum, vodka and whisky too. It’s a big tick when there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Located in Renmark, this distillery is an extraordinary sight (and a great spot to take a tour, if you can fit it into your schedule). Make sure to book out a good chunk of time when you pop in to say g’day, because you won’t want to rush through your tasting of blending masterclass. Not to mention, The Distillery Restaurant is sure to catch your belly’s attention!

The Distillery Restaurant prides itself on serving up the best of the Riverland produce on a shiny platter. They make a killer, authentic wood-oven pizza, and all their dishes incorporate Twenty Third Street spirit flavours, local indigenous ingredients, international influences and family-friendly choices. It’s a giant YES from us, when can you book us in?!

Twenty Third Street Distillery is named for its location on the corner of Twenty Third Street & Renmark Avenue in Renmark, South Australia.

Twenty Third Street is about creating great spirits and celebrating all creativity. We’re passionate about crafted spirits, distilled to the utmost quality from Australian ingredients, with something intriguing and new always around the corner. There’s a spirit for everyone.
