One of Adelaide’s latest and greatest function venues is open for business, and it’s bringing the va-va-voom to your big day. House on Haines opened in 2022 and has been wowing crowds with their memorable events ever since.
Located in the heart of Tea Tree Gully, you’ll get the feeling you’re deep in the hills… while only 30 minutes from the city. And it’s not just wedding bells they’re ringing. This versatile space can be transformed for any occasion, from birthdays to bridal showers, corporate events and even a celebration of life.
“House on Haines is a blank, yet refined canvas,” says Events Manager Nikki Geyer. “Our aim is to create unforgettable events, tailored to our customers’ specific needs, with the option to utilise a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.”
THE TEAM
The House on Haines team walks their walk. No matter your style of event, you’ll have access to their dedicated functions coordinator in the lead up and on the day. And you won’t have to lift a finger. Their team takes care of the room set-up and pack down. Talk about stress-free!
THE SPACE
It’s flexible, baby! You can choose to book the whole venue, which fits 120 people seated or 200 people cocktail style, or you can close off half and book a smaller room for up to 60 people seated or 100 people cocktail style. There are also additional spaces you can hire, including the deck, verandah and the terrace. Each area is picture perfect.
THE FOOD
Arguably one of the most important elements of a successful soiree — food, glorious food! The menus for private functions and weddings will have you salivating, with options for individual meals or big share platters. We’re talking about dishes like Hiramasa kingfish ceviche, 14-hour roasted lamb shoulder, and apple and almond frangipane tart up for grabs.
If you’re planning a corporate event, you’re in luck. The morning tea and lunch options will spice up your work day.
THE DRINKS
Featuring oodles of our fave SA booze brands, the drinks menu leaves nothing to be desired! For weddings and private functions, choose from the standard, premium or deluxe packages, with add-ons available by the hour.

They’ve thought of it all! No need to book those additional things that can make events extra special. All bookings come with access to a PA system, slideshow projector and private parking.
