Maaaaarge. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge. The rains are ‘ere! We know winter is coming, and it’s time to arm ourselves with the simplest, most delicious recipes from around the world. Things are going to get heated.
How is it May already? Wasn’t it January/the middle of summer last week? The days are definitely getting cooler now. Winter is on its way and we’re starting to crave hearty, warming and delicious meals after the sun sets (at 6pm – I don’t think we’ll ever get used to that).
What we CAN and WILL get used to are:
:: Winter sleep-ins
:: Snuggles under the blanket
:: Warming up in front of the heater (or fireplace if you’re lucky enough – if so, can we come over? We’ll cook you dinner!)
:: Hot meals and hot mugs
:: When the chilly air outside makes our warm homes that much more thrilling – especially when paired with the smell of something slow cooking on the stove or oven.
So, what will you be cooking this winter?
