A few words of wisdom I’d like to pass on as you enter motherhood for the first time…

Forget everything you think you know about babies. Your whole world is about to be flipped upside down and inside-out.
Gone are the days of leaving the house with a key and a wallet. Now you need to pack like you’re evacuating a burning building. Bottles, nappies, wipes, Sudocrem, extra clothes for them (in case they do a number three), extra clothes for you (in case that number three ends up on your shirt), snacks, bottles, toys, wraps, an extra wrap, change mat, breast pads and, of course, the usual keys, wallet, phone and lip gloss.
