Adelad and hospitality guru Sam Warrell-Thompson has been busy launching two hugely successful venues in the east.
One focuses on food and the other is all about the cocktails. So, let’s get all dolled up and explore.
DOLLY
Unley’s newest addition, Dolly brings the vibes to 5061 and is modelled on the European style of drinking, where food is there to accompany your drinking experience, working together to create a great time. Located on bustling Unley Road, she’s an intimate space that’s packed with personality… perfect for a session with the girls.
Dolly isn’t just a pretty face — this place knows how to party. “I noticed that there were no cocktails outside of town, so that was our key focus, and it’s working for us,” Sam says. The drinks menu is impressive to say the least, with a range of delicious cocktails that are sure to hit the spot. Why not try a Coconut Mint Margarita or a Hot Stuff, with gin, pear liqueur, verjuice, lemon and soda? And if you prefer something a little stronger, they also offer a selection of premium spirits and liqueurs.
Dolly is the perfect central meeting spot for an arvo drink with your besties, or an after dinner wine with your better half. Of course, you can nibble on scrumptious bites and small plates. “We’re not a bar and we’re not a restaurant — we’re somewhere in the middle.”

BAR LUNE
If you’re looking for an out of this world dining experience, look no further than Bar Lune and Eatery in Beulah Park. This trendy spot sets the bar high for the Adelaide dining scene with its unique blend of delicious food and booze.
“Lune’s perfect for a romantic date or a fun dinner with friends, and our restaurant offers a range of dishes that are both delicious and inventive,” Sam says.
From the super popular prawn toast to the pork sando, or spinach and ricotta croquettes, the food is a party in itself. But it’s not just the food that’s getting rave reviews — Bar Lune can transform into an incredible event space.
