Chatting to the creator of Bowlsome, Danielle Elia, it’s clear that these chef curated bowls have been meticulously thought out. “We don’t believe in adding anything artificial in any of our meals — it’s just clean, wholesome food with zero preservatives, all made right here in South Australia. We work closely with local growers so that where possible, every ingredient is brought in, cooked in house and packed fresh,” Danielle explains.
“I’ve always been passionate about clean eating, and I have certain food allergies, so I used to find it frustrating that I couldn’t find convenient food that was good for me. Then, when my son was three-years-old, he had a reaction and had to be put on a dairy-free, gluten-free diet. Our family’s not the only one to face these sorts of challenges, so when I started Bowlsome, I made sure to be mindful of various dietaries and people’s different needs.”
