On the corner of Grenfell Street and East Terrace, Mirra has both indoor and outdoor dining, and specialises in experiences that will help you press pause on the world outside. With carefully selected Cristina Re tea pots and cups, and detailed decor, an experience in this charming setting will make your heart flutter.

ON THE MENU

A cup of tea can invigorate the soul, but a tea at Mirra is a full-blown experience! Take your pick from red, green, blended, herbal and wellness teas — all heightened by adding selective ingredients, including delicate rose petals, jasmine flowers and lavender.

Their contemporary mocktail list is designed to thrill without that fuzzy feeling — super handy if you’re pregnant or conscious of your alcoholic intake, and they look a treat, too! With zero alcohol, these babies are bursting with a fusion of flavours, including gin and tonic, sparkling wine mocktails, and Mirra’s own hazelnut or chai espresso martinis. They also have daily drink specials, so you’re never short of options!

To really step up the deliciousness- factor, chocolate fondue oozes from the tap, or you can munch on cupcakes, macaroons, scones and the weekly dessert specials. They have vegan treats and also offer tasty lunches, like a deluxe gourmet pie with salad; and we’re melting with the choice of eight gelati flavours — are you ready? White chocolate raspberry, cookies and cream, mint chocolate, salted caramel, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and lemon sorbet… someone hand me my stretchy pants, please!

EXTRA SPECIAL

A joy for all ages, Mirra is perfect for special occasions and is particularly popular for baby showers, with their specialised high teas from Wednesday to Sunday. Think mini quiches, mini frittatas and English scones alongside a stellar line-up of drinks. Dust it off with a setting that’s pretty as a picture and you’re in for a day to remember, long after you’ve polished off your plate.
