When we fall, we fall hard. Say hello to our latest crushes!

There’s something about finding a brand that excites you, and then falling further in love once you meet the faces behind it. One of the most anticipated local markets on the calendar, Gathered Design Markets set the scene for us to cross paths with some incredible South Australian brands. They’ve now become regulars on our radar — here are a few we keep coming back to, again and again…

Six Times Seven

When Vanessa couldn’t find what she wanted in the shops, she started making pieces for herself and her daughter… and Six Times Seven was born! She hand makes every piece in the Adelaide Hills, using fabric designed by Australian women, so it’s local girl-power all the way! Vanessa’s quirky, fun and bold designs are unique canvasses of colour, and she proudly offers up pieces that look great but are comfy, too.

You’ll find camis, maxi dresses, tanks, sweaters, skirts, pants, tees, pinafores and more — and most of all, you’ll find unique retro-style vibes that you won’t get anywhere else. You’ll mostly catch Six Times Seven at markets, like Gathered, but from time to time, she’ll have things online too, so your best bet is to follow away on Instagram for your next chance to buy.
