Need to eat, drink, shop or get some life admin done? Unley Shopping Centre is where it’s at.

You’ll find the Adelady team at Unley Shopping Centre pretty much every single day. Have we ever used chores at Australia Post as an excuse to get over there? No comment. It’s just seconds from our office on Unley Road and is home to some of our fave shops. There are over 40 stores under one big roof, so chances are you’ll find exactly what you need every time — including clothes, gifts, a quick lunch or a caffeine hit when 3pm rolls around. As proud regulars, we thought we’d show you where to head for your next shopping spree.

GOBBLE UP GRILL’D

Lunch just got a whole lot easier with Grill’d popping up. These guys offer gourmet and healthy burgers without the guilt. No more justifying a ‘treat yourself’ Friday lunch — Grill’d is an everyday occurrence! I’m a huge fan of the Bird and Brie, filled with grilled chicken and creamy brie, fresh salad and cranberry sauce; or the Chilli Addict, with grass-fed beef, cheese, roasted peppers, jalapeños, fresh veg, chilli relish and sour cream — perfect for when I want something to knock my socks off. No order is complete without a side of the saltbush and pepper onion rings. And the best part? Everyone is welcome at Grill’d, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu, too.

TRY A NEW DO AT ZINK – THE ELEMENT OF HAIR

A good hair day can be make-or-break! This award-winning salon’s Instagram page has me dreaming of making dramatic changes, like textured blonde highlights or cutting curtain bangs to perfectly frame my face. With 28 years of experience behind them, the stylists are confident about bold moves but will guide you to what suits your hair and face shape. If you’re after something a touch less permanent, pop past for a blow dry, up-style or even get your makeup done for your next special occasion.

PLATTER TIME AT CULTURE SHOCK PROVISIONS

We swear, you can smell the cheese and smallgoods at Culture Shock from a mile away! Hard cheese, soft cheese, prosciutto, jamon, fresh sourdough loaves, olives, fresh pasta — need we say more? Shelves and shelves of luxury and gourmet goodies surround the produce in the counter displays, and you can’t go past the popular Ortiz anchovies, high quality olive oils, or the range of locally made dips. This might just be my new happy place!

STYLE IT UP AT SERAFINA

Long time lovers of SA’s very own Serafina, we’re obsessed with their gorgeous dresses, knit jumpers, everyday tops and the world’s most comfortable signature stretch pants. Their clothes are designed to fit and flatter all body types, with prints that simply make us happy in sizes 6 to 18. Each piece is thoughtfully designed for everyday wear and can also be transformed for work, a night on the town or a relaxing weekend at a winery. You’ll also find that each print comes in a few different styles, so you can find a fit that’s just right for you. Love!

SIP SWEETLY AT MUMPLING DUMPLING & BOBA

Meet the new kid on the block! Mumpling Dumpling & Boba only moved into Unley Shopping Centre in June 2022, but they’ve quickly become a fan favourite, especially when it comes to their bubble tea. Get experimental with the Vegemite flavour, or sweeten the deal with a Biscoff or Nutella option. And then, there are the dumplings. Me, oh my, these babies are good! Alongside your traditional flavours, you’ll also find Mumpling’s unique Cheeseburger Dumplings, served on a bed of fries. It’s our go-to when we’re on the run or need a snack to get us through the day. Happy to have you at our local, Mumpling!

We thought we might be able to keep all the exciting things happening at our local as our little secret — but it’s just too good! Unley Shopping Centre needs to be shared, so, we’ll see you in the aisles.
