Renee Hallinan (now Renee Ingles) is the full package: fit, strong, smart, beautiful and bursting with personality. Oh, I forgot to mention she’s also the captain of the Adelaide Thunderbirds, an Australian international netball star and now a WORLD champion! Only a few weeks ago, she and her team of Diamonds, beat New Zealand by 3 goals to reclaim the Netball World Cup title.
On the court, she’s a star wing defender and one of the most influential players of the Australian national netball team.
At home, she’s a newly-wed and completely loved up with her husband, NBA basketballer and Australian Boomer, Joe Ingles. Last month, she tied the knot at Bird In Hand Winery, in the Adelaide Hills. As you’re reading this, she’s on her honeymoon, probably doing something that we can’t talk about on Adelady. (hehe)

We think she’s pretty special and she could definitely beat me in an arm wrestle, so that alone makes her this week’s Inspirational Adelady.

On my couch at home with my husband. We don’t get a lot of relaxing couch time together so when we do, we sit back and enjoy it with a nice glass of red and the footy on TV.
