Hiding in the eastern suburbs are some of the best foodie experiences you could ask for.
If you’re after some bloomin’ good food, do we have the tour for you! The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is offering guests the opportunity to join its Food Secrets Tours to discover the treats the burbs have to offer.
The Food Secrets Tours were initially created to showcase the delicious food manufacturers in both Glynde and Stepney, and have now expanded to showcase businesses outside these suburbs. They continue to highlight those much-loved businesses that sit just off the main streets, creating the amazing South Australian products often stocked in stores and supermarkets around our state and Australia. We betcha didn’t know half of these were made right here in our backyard!

LET’S TALK TOURS
Hop on a bus for your Food Secrets Tour — but you better get booking, as tours only run once a month between February and November and sell out fast. Each tour visits: coffee, sweet treat, a tipple at an Eastside Wine & Ale Trail venue (see page 75), and a delicious lunch. These stops offer tastings or samples, and discounts on purchases. You’ll walk away with a much greater appreciation of SA produce, a full belly, and a goodie bag!
WHAT’S ON THE MAP?
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is home to endless food legends. Here’s a tasting plate of some of the businesses that you could be experiencing firsthand:

Gelato Bello — These guys were recently were inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 Eastside Business Awards — and for good reason. YUM!
