Your next wine tour just got a lot closer to home!
Once upon a time, three cellar doors and a microbrewery were founded in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide. And that was the start of the Eastside Wine & Ale Trail, right in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.
Since its inception, this metropolitan experience has flourished as local wine, beer and gin businesses have boomed — and now the Trail has grown to include 13 members in total, with nine cellar doors, two microbreweries and two gin distilleries. The eastern suburbs just keep getting better and better!
You can jump aboard a Food Secrets Tour (see page 72) to discover these drinking holes (and many great food manufacturers) in all their glory, or take your time with a self-guided tour of the great wine regions of South Australia, right here in the inner eastern suburbs.
Online, you’ll find a new flipbook publication showcasing the people behind each business, as well as all the deets you’ll need to arrange a cellar door visit if bookings are required. Make a day of it, on a self- guided Eastside Wine & Ale Trail Tour.
