Our Longest Table event took place about a month ago, and I’m still reeling from the incredible transformation that took place in what started out as a blank canvas. We’ve got a couple of pretty special people to thank for that.

Let me paint you a picture of a conversation I had a few months ago with Lauren, in the lead up to our Longest Table Dinner…
L: We’re raising money for breast cancer, so everything should be pink.
M: Ok, we’ll get some pink flowers, maybe some pink champagne. I’ll start having a look around.
L: No, Millie. I mean, EVERYTHING should be pink.
I had a moment of panic because when Loz is on a mission, anything could happen. I mean, how on earth were we meant to turn the entire room pink?! The answer — Matt, from Venue Productions. After a quick chat with him, we realised that our event was in very safe hands.
On the day of our event, Matt arrived at Freemasons Hall right on time and introduced himself as the guy from Venue Productions, there to set up a few lights. He seemed to know what he was doing and where he was going, so I left him to it. But a couple of hours later, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

The venue looked like a COMPLETELY different place. The front of the beautiful old building was illuminated in pink. The walls inside the venue were lit up in pink. And the stage had been completely transformed with two huge cherry blossom light displays — in pink, of course.
The entire venue literally glowed, and suddenly we weren’t just hosting another Longest Table Dinner. Our event looked spectacular, unique, and the perfect representation of our cause.

If you’re searching for a way to take your event from wow to WOOOOOW, call our new BFF, Matt. He’s done loads of other non-pink events around Adelaide and they’re all just as fabulous — check them out…

We also suggest giving him some artistic license because you just never know what amazing creation he might come up with.
Thanks again for making our night mind-blowing, Matt.
