The Howling Owl is tucked underneath Rhino Room on Frome Street but there are usually folks sitting out the front so you can’t miss it. I went this week on a cold night and got a warm mulled wine. This is definitely going to be my drink of choice over winter. It’s an intimate space but also a great place to bring a big group of friends.
Every night they have a gin special during happy hour. It’s a really nice way to try gin with a combination you wouldn’t expect. On the bar they have lots of combinations of treats to add including cinnamon, cranberries and chilli. My favourite drink of choice though had to be their amazing expresso martinis.
If you’re feeling a bit peckish they have lots of yummy sweet treats and cheese platers. They changed my life by introducing me to the combination of blue cheese and honey YUM!!!
This is a bar you go to for a good chat with your friends where you can actually hear what they have to say. It’s one of my favourite Adelaide bars.
