Okay, I know it’s Father’s Day soon and yes ALL DADS DESERVE LOVE! And beer and a mug of mixed nuts. Because that’s what dads love, right?
But enough about Dad. Why not spoil Mum at the same time? Last week, I experienced something that felt too good to be true. But it was true. It did happen. And it was beyond amazing!
I was completely selfish and had a one-hour “mummy” special treatment package at A Touch of Beauty, which included a facial, manicure and pedicure. That’s right, all in one hour! This particular experience is tailored for busy mums. Time is of the essence when you have children — nobody has time for a five-hour pamper session. But we can and should allow one hour every now and then, to spoil ourselves and lift our spirits.
Let me take you to Heaven…
I was laying on a warm massage bed with my eyes closed when it began — the trifecta. I had three lovely therapists working on me at the same time and I got the giggles in the middle of it. I felt so spoilt; like the Queen.
As I slipped into a blissful facial “coma”, my feet were being exfoliated and soaked in a warm footbath. And my nails, well, they were being shaped, polished and pampered.
I felt my whole body relax and it was like all the stress in my world didn’t exist anymore!
I woke up with a glowing face, beautifully manicured nails and my feet were floating on clouds. It was absolutely magical and it would be cruel of me not to share this with other mums and busy women.
Soooooo, we’re giving one of these amazing experiences away to a very special (time-poor) woman. Why? Because YOU deserve it!
