OK, we get it – “New Year, New Me” is one of the most overused expressions during January. Too bad though, because we LOVE it!
This year we’ve really gone the whole hog – we’ve signed up to a gym (only with a 1 month membership, but still), we spend most nights texting each other pics of the healthy meals we’ve made, and we’ve been downing our very own smoothie bowls like there’s no tomorrow.
One issue though – being healthy 24/7 is HARD. All the meal prep and grocery shopping and eating bland salads leaves us thinking “ain’t nobody got time for that”, while dreaming of the good old days when you could just faceplant into a tub of icecream and call it dinner.
