There’s a rad little vintage shop in Adelaide Arcade named Vintage Pickers. They’re all about making vintage and retro affordable. And I’m all about finding bargains — so it’s a match made in heaven! You’ll find furniture, homewares and everything in between. It’s run by one super cool chick, India Armstrong and today she’s sharing with us her fave finds in store!

Well, here we are again! It’s a new month and there’s lots of rad new picks in store – woohoo! Everything in the shop I have lovingly hand-picked myself, so to choose a top 5 is a hard task.  Every piece in my shop is quirky, beautiful or down-right awesome. But since I have to choose, these would be my top 5 picks:

1. Mirrors $65 each or $110 for the pair

This dynamic duo is the perfect blend of practical and pretty. I mean, who wouldn’t want to look at that stunning art while doing their hair?!

2. Desk $60

This little antique beauty is just screaming to be used… I found it in the back of someone’s shed looking very sad. Such a crime.

3. Deck Chair $18

It’s just so little and cute! I love the grey and yellow together, such a good colour combo.

4. Footrest $45

Ok, seriously, could a footrest get any cooler?! It’s the perfect feature piece for any lounge room, study or bedroom. So comfy too!

5. Bench $45

This understated, French provincial style bench is an absolute must have. It has so many possibilities and is oh so stunning.

India Armstrong is the owner of Vintage Pickers, a shop in the Adelaide Arcade dedicated to all things vintage. Born and raised in Adelaide she discovered her love and talent for finding vintage treasures at a young age. She has turned this passion into a business with a flair for style beyond her 19 years. When she is not at the shop she’s out picking for more vintage, often with Coco; her Italian greyhound and trusty sidekick.
