Two and a half years ago, we sat at a cafe in Dulwich with a zany idea of creating a website, that shared the best of SA. Two and half years on, with a website and TV show, we are now opening the doors to 78 Edmund Street, Unley.

Yep, as most small business owners would know, up until now our office has been a side-table at The Feathers, an outside bench on King William Road, in front of my fire (wearing pjs), Burnside Cibo or inside a bin*. There are only so many coffees you can buy before a cafe owner politely asks you to leave.

So to finally have a space where we can all work from, with actual office-y kind of stuff is the absolute BEST!

Now, us being us, clearly our priorities are all in order. And decking our office out in awesome furniture (and pineapples) is number one.

You see, Adelady and the girls behind it are super bright and colourful, there ain’t no time for beige around here! So we picked our sister-from-another-mister furniture shop and got the ball rolling.

Matt Blatt on Morphett Street is my personal fave.  It’s the one shop I walk into and want EVERYTHING. I’ve had a secret love affair with Matt Blatt for some time now, in fact I’m slowly transforming my house into a Matt Blatt showroom.

If you love colourful, inspirational and offbeat furniture, lighting, homewares and accessories, you will go weak at the knees as soon as you walk in.

Anyway, enough about my saucy love affairs, let us show you how Bec (our new Matt Blatt friend) transformed our empty room into the coolest office EVER.

Not only did she listen to what we had inside our jumbled-up, non-interior designer minds, but she talked us through what would go together and what wouldn’t. She was SUCH a great help and having someone bring to life what we had imagined was brilliant!

So, here goes — welcome to the Adelady office…

*We have never worked inside a bin.

Make sure you follow Matt Blatt on social…
