Instagram became my very close friend this year. As soon as I had my second baby, Alfie, I was up in the middle of the night (like millions of other mums around the world), feeding my baby. It can be lonely. Even though you’re technically not alone (with a baby on your boob), you can feel isolated. That’s when you make friends with Instagram.
Scrolling through people’s feeds at 2am, 3am, 4am (looking for ‘mum inspiration’) became my nightly routine. Suddenly, I didn’t feel so alone anymore. Instead, I was part of a community of like-minded mums, also looking for the same inspiration.
From nursery decor, baby clothes, party inspo and toys, to fitness tips and clean eating, these are some of my favourite Adelaide Instagram accounts for mums.

Claire is an Adelaide mum to 3 amazing bubbas. Ed (11), Lily (8), Ruby (1) and wife to a wonderful, broad-shouldered man she calls Roo. Her photos reflect her favourite things: family, gorgeous interiors, fashion and party inspo. Each photo is like a summer fruit salad — sweet, bright and colourful. You will be inspired by her photos and probably get room-envy too. I want EVERYTHING she has!
2. @Partywithlenzo
A party revolution – it’s the only centralised destination for event inspiration, hire and trade. Baby, hens, wedding or work. Whatever the party, they have the style and ideas to inspire you.
3. @luluandlo
Based in Adelaide, Lulu and Lo is a place for nursery decor, banana bibs, delightful crochet toys, the coolest of cloud cushions and the cutest leather moccasins. They had me at moccasins.
4. @harlow_handmade
Based in Adelaide, Harlow Handmade is a place for baby and toddler fashion. They specialise in organic clothing, baby moccasins. and long-sleeve rompers. If you love hippie pants, like I do, these guys do hippie pants for kids. So ridiculously cute!
5. @christianeduigan
Christiane (AKA Mrs Clean & Lean) is an Adelaide mum of 2 and wife to celebrity personal trainer, Adelaide’s James Duigan. Her photo feed is full of inspiring food and meal ideas, fashion, exercise and special family moments. She shows that even a busy mum with a demanding job (Director of Clean & Lean Global), can still make time to look after herself and inspire other women to do the same.
